Barrett Brown To Be Released!

I, Barrett Brown, Have Returned

hbgary emails

FINALLY!
not-barrett-brown ;)Barrett Brown is an imprisoned US journalist and the founder of Project PM, a crowd-sourced investigation into the cyber-industrial complex. He was described as an unofficial spokesperson for Anonymous before he renounced his ties to the collective in 2011. He’s written two books, in addition to several articles about politics and journalism in the digital age. In 2012, the FBI raided his house, and later that year Barrett was indicted in 12 federal charges relating to the 2011 Stratfor hack. The most controversial charge, linking to the hacked data, was dropped, but in 2015 Brown was still sentenced to 63 months in prison. Reporters Without Borders cited Barrett’s prosecution among its reasons for the United States dropping 14 spots on its press freedom rankings in 2014.

Barrett continues to write a column from jail for The Intercept, for which he has won a National Magazine Award and a New York Press Club journalism award.

On 16 July 2015, the Courage Foundation announced that Barrett is the organization’s fifth beneficiary. Courage relaunched Brown’s site with a new overview of Barrett’s case and Project PM’s work, in addition to compilations of Barrett’s journalism, books, legal documents and media appearances.

In addition to legal and commissary fees, Barrett was ordered to pay $890,250 in fines and restitution as part of his sentence. Barrett urgently needs your support.

Barrett is scheduled for release from prison to a halfway house on
29 November 2016.

Presidential Election 2016 – Winner

this sums it all up –

.
.

if you don’t understand this, you make too much money.

In the end, which isn’t played in this clip, Moore still backs Clinton – for all the wrong reasons.

Still, he’s right about one thing, if she wins and can’t bridge the gap – which for the life of me I don’t see how she could, it’s not in her character or make up – the country is on the path to over. Trump voters will not go gentle into that good night.

2015

2015

In reflection: 2014 – The US took more steps closer to 3rd world status. It was the year of #ISIS and Russel Brand, pot and big ideas, big oil, big NSA, Russia, Ukraine, Scotland and the Israeli slaughter of children. Oligarchs got fatter, banker’s received more and bigger bonuses, bitcoin again, cops cops cops and more cops, bang! vaper’s vaped and firefox sucks or I need a new computer.

What will 2015 bring?
I’ll let you know next year, in the mean time blow your horn!

FIRST!

bitcoHere’s the problems with crypto. Those who would use or benefit most don’t have any money to buy or invest in the currency.

Many of these folks see crypto as just more of the same – speculating towards the same old wealth and eventually in the same old hands; mostly white.

Those who invest now – those who can afford to – for them it’s been like winning the lottery, while nothing fundamentally has or will change for the better in regards to the financial system, especially when it concerns the working masses.

What the people want is justice, monetary regulation and taxation on massive profits – rather than SHARE the wealth perhaps, it should be called, SPREAD the Wealth.

These people/protesters don’t want charity – – to paraphrase Henry Ford, ‘charity is a cure for poverty as capital punishment is to a cure for crime.’

People are quickly giving up on Capitalism and “Free Markets,” they don’t trust the system and the Bankers, Wall Street Investors and The Government have given them good cause not to.

What is emerging are the demands for fundamental human rights – people are beginning to push for FDR’s Second Bill of Rights.
right

So there is a new split or rather, the split is becoming noticeable between those who want a truly “Free Market Economy” and those who want the right to live safe without financial fears and woes especially, when it comes to “Basic Human Needs.” They want to be free of the usury-revolving-door crooks.

And to those who say money is what drives people to success and innovation I say, Balderdash!

Get a load of the giant egos all over YouTube and the net, along with the endless addiction to selfies. What really drives people today is recognition and fame – basic psychology, “look at me!” – The new success and innovation in this emerging economy is the ability to say FIRST! In the future, money will become a mere blanket to coddle, a thumb only to suck on the way down.
.
First is a state of mind, a philosophy, it requires time and dedication, first is an art form…

First gained it’s foothold in the modern era first, with The Bomb, followed by the First Man on the Moon, then in 2007 the idea of first was clearly established on the Net.

you may laugh, but it’s true.

Barrett Brown

Journalist Barrett Brown sentenced to 63 months in prison for being a journalist

bbbbA court in Dallas has sentenced Barrett Brown to 63 months in prison.
count one 48 months
count two 12 months
count three 3 months

PLUS He must also pay $890,000 to Stratfor and Combined Security in restitution.
50% percent of all gifts and awards will go till paid in full.

He was sentenced for his relationship with a source who said he was close to the hacker group Anonymous. A group infiltrated and taken over by the FBI: this used to be called entrapment and is/was illegal in the US, but law enforcement owned by Wall Street Banks do what they want in the US. The FBI mine as well be called the Staci now.

For publishing a public link to stolen documents and information by Stratfor Security.

Now we know why Edward Snowden left.

On the FBI Practices:“”This is not the “rule of law”, Your Honor, it is the “rule of law enforcement”, and it is very dangerous.” -Barrett Brown

“The copy of the Declaration of Independence they took from me? Will I get that back?” – Barrett Brown in court  (answer = no).

“Good news! — The U.S. government decided today that because I did such a good job investigating the cyber-industrial complex, they’re now going to send me to investigate the prison-industrial complex. For the next 35 months, I’ll be provided with free food, clothes, and housing as I seek to expose wrong doing by Bureau of Prisons officials and staff and otherwise report on news and culture in the world’s greatest prison system. I want to thank the Department of Justice for having put so much time and energy into advocating on my behalf; rather than holding a grudge against me for the two years of work I put into in bringing attention to a DOJ-linked campaign to harass and discredit journalists like Glenn Greenwald, the agency instead labored tirelessly to ensure that I received this very prestigious assignment. — Wish me luck!” -Barrett Brown

“We need to restore a very rigorous tradition of civil disobedience until reasonable well-informed people are confident that the powerful are not above the law.” Barrett Brown (said on the phone after the trial from prison)
